| Many specifics regarding the weekend is not set, and updates will be
added when things are decided and timetables are ready. Price for
attending is every year set depending on the estimated amount of
participants. Estimated price is 150,- Norwegian Kroner. The fee for
attending this year must be paid on arrival when you receive your
badge. Friday 21. May 12:00
Get-in starts on Friday the 21. May at 12:00 where we will start
placing games as they come in. We urge as many as possible to bring
games so we all can enjoy the variety of games that are out there.
Prizes will be given to some of the attendants that brings games to the
show. We had about 70 games last event, and we encourage participants
to bring games.
Games placed on stage will be reserved for the WPPR tournament.
Qualifying rounds will start on Friday night. All participants will have
TWO attempts on their chosen games. All who wishes to participate in
the tournament must finish the qualifying rounds before Saturday at
18:00. Quarterfinals and finals timetable will be
announced later.
Saturday 22. May 10:00
We meet at 10 to start up and check all machines before "Open house"
starts. A press release is sent to newspapers, radio and TV stations,
and an add for the event is in the local newspaper where we invite
people to come to try our hobby. Open house is from 12:00 to 18:00.
Entrance price is kr.30,- and everything is on free play inside our
doors. Entrance fees goes into the pot for renting the venue, prizes and
truck rentals etc. Games for sale must be marked properly as visitors visit us just
to buy games on Saturdays.
Visits to Parts 4 Pinballs new warehouse and stockroom will be arranged
during the day on Saturday for those who are interested in seeing our
new location.
The WPPR Tournament will continue all day Saturday with finals on
Saturday night.
Sunday 23. May 10:00
Time to pack our stuff and bring it home. Many of our visitors has a
long way home and helping them out is an honourable thing to do. If you
haven't brought any games yourself, then help a fellow pinhead packing.
Do NOT start playing games and standing in the way! Sunday is not a game
day, we all want to come home in a reasonable time! |
